i think the album's first week chart position was in the 20s, and the first proper single from it reached the dizzying heights of 39.
basically, if they've not been dropped by the end of the year, i'll eat my hat.
Sony are trying to recoup a £700,000 advance from when they signed them.
they should get the band to do a sponsered climb of everest? strikes me as a more likely way to do so.
i am very proud of this - two members of said band have called me a twat on two seperate occasions :D

so maybe someone can explain something to me. would their sudden change from vaguely interesting post-rock influenced indie band to haircut obsessed nme posers have been suggested by their label, or was it the band's own attempt to try and make a bit more money?
