go and watch it now
it was 'gentle' comedy slightly out of kilter with erm...everything?
bu its better than that rubbish bitch on before it.
catherine tate is fucking crap though.
both english and american.
the only funny things these days are david cross albums and QI.
if it wasnt for fry that programme would be terrible
did you see the episode with gorman, bill bailey, alan davies and rich hall? four of the funniest people in the world PLUS stephen fry!
it was half an hour of excellence.
esp. QI - why are we all meant to like Catherine Tate - why??? She's like a rubbish female Dick Emery - at a push
And she's ruined the xmas Dr Who Spesh - already
it's quite repetitive and only raises a chuckle once or twice an episode.
thats what ive been doing for the last few days... ill watch some more tonight.
in a double video package. three pounds from oxfam! fabulous.
but still fabulous... i have series 1 on video. its strange how much it changed over the years.. Blackadder goes forth is my favourite series though.
you can download tv series relatively quickly, you should download the american office series 2. i found it very funny, a different sort of humour to the english one but still funny. the characterisation is alot better, and the equivelant of gareth (dwight) has a secret office romance.
"do you ever regret threads you started?"
that episode was really poor
but overall it's been good. The one with the squirrel had me in tears
that was crap tho
of the episodes I saw. It's not gentle comedy - you must be missing the jokes. Do you need an audience track to tell you when to laugh?
I thought this series had real heart, some quite savage jokes and observations and will, I am sure, get a second series that will be even better.
didn't think The Office was funny?
but I can see there will be no convincing you.
The whole concept that some focus group of nobfish at ITV has designated when you should find something funny sickens me.
are not rare at all. They are abitrarily put on any fucking show. This Is Alan Partridge for one example had an audience track on it until so many people complained that it was taken off. It is only really rubbish family BBC and ITV sit-coms that have live audiences.
that, or they record the live audience very badly, whichever there is lots of very odd sounding laughter on BBC shows.
didnt have a laughter track when it was first screened in '97. Same goes for League of Gentlemen. They only stuck it on when they later repeated it and it went to video.
It was good. Nothing special, but it got better as the series progressed.
this said said sex something HA and i was attracted! but no....
even though it didn't make me laugh much
