well i thought it was funny.
"Arctic monkeys is definately deserved but how on earth did the kooks not get shortlisted and Thom yorke did. The kooks are the best new band around and there stuff is amazing. If Thom yorke can get on the list then they definatly can. Last years shorlist was brilliant but theyv'e made mistakes this year"
Once again we are given the same old predictable bunch of teen indie kids, albums we've all got, bands we've never heard of and the token 80's nomination.
Would it be too challenging to nominate a band that actually make interesting music? The last few months has seen great albums released by Dirty Pretty Things, The Feeling and Hope of the States, yet none of them get a shout - and why? Because the organisers are too lazy to get away from the same old carbon copies.
I'll stick a tenner on Razorlight for next year then shall I?
both that one and the one Therapyrock mentioned were the exact ones i was meaning.
You are talking about DPT and The Feeling.
Those are not my feelings, I was laughing at someone making that comment.
I thought i had got the easiest target ever on DiS.
