    • ugh

I hate moths. Did you have lights on, because insects follow light. I learnt that lesson the hard way..

  • yeah

there's one lurking outside my bedroom right now.

    looks like a small bat.

    shadyadie | 18 Jul '06, 00:19 | X
  • just usher it towards the window innit.

    There's no need to kill.

    Thom_fa | 18 Jul '06, 00:20 | X
    • Kill?

Killing it is the last thing I'd do.

I hate people who kill things like that. There's no need really. I usually go to great effort to get them out without hurting them.

I'm a bit silly actually. I feel well guilty if I trapt their legs.

      wrightylew @Thom_fa | 18 Jul '06, 00:25 | X
      • set the bats on it

        shadyadie @wrightylew | 18 Jul '06, 00:27 | X
        • they

only live for about a day. Does that mean it is OK to kill it? Hmm. Philosophical DiS.

          MEGAtron @wrightylew | 18 Jul '06, 00:27 | X
          • If it were ok

All murder would be right, regardless of lifespan.

If we say, X has only a day to live and so can be killed as soon as possible. Then in turn it would have only a moment to live. Thus we might have said a day earlier, X has a day to live and therefore can be killed immediately. and so on ad infinitum

            • thank you - you are correct

And that was just the kind of debate I wanted.

        • i like moths

they're like flying mice. cute + furry, aww.
talking of mice, i just heard the mouse trap go in the kitchen and now i dont want to go in for some late night cake and milk incase there are mouse entrails spattered over the floor

          :(

          pretty_vacant @wrightylew | 18 Jul '06, 00:28 | X
        • I completely agree.

Killing something to make your life slightly easier is very silly.

          Thom_fa @wrightylew | 18 Jul '06, 00:28 | X
          • I never kill insects.

I saved a bee from drowning in our paddling pool once, but the ungrateful poo stung me and so died anyway.

Insects have been really bugging me (hahaha, not :( ) over the last few weeks, those of u who were here may remember my moth troubles. And today I was attacked by a spider, and the fattest bee u've ever seen wouldnt get out of my room for like 3 hours today. I was like get out u shit licker!
