Happiness.

fionapinkstars [Edit] [Delete] 85 replies 12:01, 17 July '06

Everything is GREAT.
The weather is beautiful, despite the fact I need more summery dresses. My job is fantastic, depsite my lack of money. This weekend was wonderful, and involved lots of laying in parks. I'm all excited about a boy, and I'm super-looking forward to Truck.
Why are YOU happy today? GO.

  • my weekend sucked

i tried to do too much. i always get grumpy when i try to do stuff.

i need to spend some time on my own feeling sorry for myself, then i will be able to be happy again.

having said that, im in a reeeeeeeeally good mood today :D

  • i am happy

because i am going to buy tickets for a train so i can see my friend. the downside to this however is that it will cost £40+, and that lakes me slightly sad.

but there is sun, iv got a festival coming up (not truck) and im going to play poker tonight, which i will win.

  • No particular reason

Although, I'm alone in the office listening to music and thinking about all the funny things that were said yesterday. And I got a text at 5am that made me laugh.

    but I don't know why.
I don't think there's any one reason in particular.
I just feel... content... with stuff.

i have this weird feeling in my stomach, that feels like excitement, but it is so strong it actually hurts.

yes there's a bunch of gigs this month that are "duty free" AND £1.50 drinks. tomorrow it's the needles & some others. then there's another on saturday and one next week. winner! something I can actually afford to go to!

sounds really quite good. £1.50 drinks I approve of.

The Needles I have seen before but remember nothing about. Just looked up the line-up. Azzuri are playing, who I have never seen but have a reptuation for being shit. I dont get paid until thursday :(

But I may be able to stretch to £1.50 drinks. and FREE gigs.

it's sunny so I am pretty much automatically happy. yesterday I sat in a beer garden and drank REALLY expensive but REALLY nice beer that was bought for me by a REALLY pretty boy. and I am about to have a BAKED POTATO. mmmm.

              except I'm leaving.
it's literally impossible to stay motivated and do ANYTHING.
I got told off by my boss earlier and had to do my best to keep a "I'm bothered, really I am..." face.
which reminds me, I'm happy about leaving.

              • i'm not even leaving

                and i have this problem.
maybe it's because today i've just been given a load of documents to transcribe.
and also because i'm listening to Elliott Smith.

but my past experiences of music in shared offices have been terrible. i remember six months of having to listen to Magic FM every single day.

despite having played blood brothers and lirs, the desaparecidos album was the only thing i've ever been asked to turn off. weird.

        - we built this city on rock & roll: if you don't like this song, you don't deserve to live. it is playing, it is loud and it is great.
