recording software recommendations?

alleyecons [Edit] [Delete] 3 replies 12:34, 8 February '06

Hi more or less i only have a cheap cassette player that has a built in mic. But my sister has a pc so i was wondering if there was any software i could get which would allow me to hook the cassette player up to the computer and record the cassettes onto the computer and burn a cd? i know this will be extremely unproduced but it would be a step forward for me! i dont really have enough access to hook up instruments to the computer and well i only really thought this would be a good idea for duplication purposes. your advice would be really helpful, thanks.

  • well....

save up and get a multi-track
the Zoom 802 is the one i use and has proved to be most awesome, built in effects and drum machines make for good fun too.

well...cheaper apparently are those tascam doobies...a US-122 that you plug instruments into then into your pc via a USB so you can edit it, toy with it with whatever software you might have. Thats all i got
