Hey all you good NON-depping/session/cover band/"professional" drummer people,

If you're creative, up for thinking a little sideways on the odd occasion, and very much into dynamics, then you might be in luck!
We're called Halfbeak. Lyrics with wit (sometimes!), humour and heart along the lines of Neil Young/Bob Dylan with a dreamy/melodic/noisy guitarist similar-ish to bands like Radiohead, early Verve or My Bloody Valentine. Some great music to be made from this, you won't be sorry! Would also not hurt if you are a massive fan of Tom Waits' Swordfishtrombones - Rain Dogs percussion genius.

A bit old-fashioned I know, but we're very much doing this for the music's sake rather compromising to seize fame and glory. Having said that, would like to be doing this as a living for the rest of our lives. It just has to be in the right order.

We are inner North London-based, very experienced/capable, friendly, decent, heaps of material to work with, part of a very nice community of very good friends in other bands, and looking to start with gigs soon.
