I am a drummer from London
and my band have just called it a day, so I'm now looking for something new and exciting, preferably built from scratch or at least a band in its infancy.
I am a male person and 21 units of age. I have studio and gig expereince and guess I'm pretty adept at hitting things.
Here are things I like:
Liars, A Sunny Day in Glasgow, Boards of Canada, Deerhoof, Los Campesinos!, The Books, My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab… that's a pretty good guide for people I'm likely to be interested in being involved with, although I'm very happy to do stuff that sounds nothing like any of that.
PM me or Post and I shall get in touch!

Hello
Don't think it's something I'd be interested in, I'm afraid. Good luck with your search!
Hey
Hey mate
Myself and a guitarist are currently looking for a drummer. I cant say that I've heard much by most the bands you've mentioned, but I really like Los Campesinos & My Bloody Valentine. (Saw the former at their last gig at Electric Ballroom where Touts were offering tickets for "The Cappucinos"...!
Here's our ad

Hey
listened to your myspace, not sure it's really my thing I'm afraid. Alas.

Would you be interested in forming a boy/girl noise duo? I was thinking very much in the Deefhoof/Liars vein, but poppy like Los C. Thoughts?
Sounds exciting!

Hi,
I'm a guitarist/bassist/synth player looking for a fellow musician to work with on giving birth to the deformed child of Tony Iommi and Delia Derbyshire.
Interesting?
we're interested
Hey,
We're called Halfbeak, currently looking for a drummer. Lyrics with wit (sometimes!), humour and heart along the lines of Neil Young/Bob Dylan with a dreamy/melodic/noisy guitarist similar-ish to bands like Radiohead, early Verve or My Bloody Valentine.
I have 4 home-recorded EPs under the name Halfbeak (just myself) on Spotify, also available at: www.halfbeak.bandcamp.com.
A silly video-clip here:

We're looking for a drummer who is very much into dynamics and thinking outside the box on occasion. Very much doing this for the music's sake rather than any (remote) potential fame and glory, having said that, would like to be doing this as a living for the rest of our lives. It just has to be in that order.
We are inner North London-based, very experienced/capable, friendly, decent, heaps of material to work with, part of a very nice community of very good friends in other bands, and looking to start with gigs soon.
Maybe chat to you soon!
Tim.
