We're called Halfbeak, currently looking for a drummer. Lyrics with wit (sometimes!), humour and heart along the lines of Neil Young/Bob Dylan with a dreamy/melodic/noisy guitarist similar-ish to bands like Radiohead, early Verve or My Bloody Valentine.

We're looking for a drummer who is very much into dynamics and thinking outside the box on occasion. Very much doing this for the music's sake rather than any (remote) potential fame and glory, having said that, would like to be doing this as a living for the rest of our lives. It just has to be in that order.
We are inner North London-based, very experienced/capable, friendly, decent, heaps of material to work with, part of a very nice community of very good friends in other bands, and looking to start with gigs soon.

Hey mate

Bit of a copy and paste job, but you probably know how long winded these searches can be! These are our details:

North London based Vocalist with solo London gigging background & guitarist whose played all of glasgow's venues, including a support slot at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.
Looking for a bass player and drummer with commitment and into similar styles of music as ourselves.
Songs written and plenty of material to work with.
Influences include The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, The Stone Roses, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Cure, Joy Division, The Beatles, The Clash, Led Zepplin, Suede, Radiohead, Patti Smith, Amanda Palmer and loads more.

Im playing a solo gig on the 25th January at the 100 Club, which could have been ours had we had a drummer and bass player. But its still open for us to headline Dublin Castle on February 21st otherwise I'll do it myself.

Here's some of my solo work though John is an awesome guitarist and we'll be doing something a bit rockier
