Drummer available, London
I'm moving down to London in a few days and looking to drum in a band. I'm more interested in drumming itself than the techie equipment side of things, i.e. I'm a pretty tight, technically able and creative drummer but my kit is not *amazing*. I've never understood the obsession some drummers have with equipment. Anyway, I'm into a fairly wide variety of stuff - I'm more interested in drumming in a band with good songs and interesting ideas than a specific genre. Here're some examples of my drumming:

I like to think we have good songs and interesting ideas.....
We're a a kinda punk-rock / alt / grunge band.... we have a studio off Old St with a drum kit (no breakables), a decent set of songs... serious about music... not about too much else.
We're two chicks and a dude... guitarist/bassist/vocalist. We're laid back, no drama... looking for same. Ambitions to get gigging and touring soon.

We're called Halfbeak, currently looking for a drummer. Lyrics with wit (sometimes!), humour and heart along the lines of Neil Young/Bob Dylan with a dreamy/melodic/noisy guitarist similar-ish to bands like Radiohead, early Verve or My Bloody Valentine.

We're looking for a drummer who is very much into dynamics and thinking outside the box on occasion. Very much doing this for the music's sake rather than any (remote) potential fame and glory, having said that, would like to be doing this as a living for the rest of our lives. It just has to be in that order.
We are inner North London-based, very experienced/capable, friendly, decent, heaps of material to work with, part of a very nice community of very good friends in other bands, and looking to start with gigs soon.
