I lose track.
And ipods are pissing me off.
can the zen record directly off a record player like iriver? ideally the best mp3 player would have DAB too.
Is it going to fuck-up after 6 months though?
And does it come with more memory?
I have a much older version of the Zen which is 60 gig I've had it for two years this thursday - Birthday, and it hasn't broke yet. I'm not sure if you can get the new version like that in 60 gig yet.
I've had mine something like a year and a half and it's broke about 5 times!
I'll admit that once was carelessnes (the first time) but the rest were serious faults!
My cousin researched this for me (he is a techy type geek). when i remember the name I'll give you a link.
the one breadfan suggested was the one that is apparently the bestest.
This is the version I have; http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0000UXH64/026-3919490-7695647?v=glance&n=560798&v=glance
but then I'm biased. it's top notch though.
and you can stick it in your battered old VW Beetle cassette deck too
And more reliable
I've had two die on me in the space of a year now. Never again.
No problems at all yet. iPods = good.
My Zen two years! Just look in the archives of DiS social board and see how many threads there are about I-pods fucking up.
Get an iPod.
Best MP3 player and and endless well of replacements should they be required.
Otherwise all your downloading gone everytime it breaks. It's still a pain putting cds onto your mp3.
and now I am even more pleased that I didn't get an ipod, since John 'bullies 14-year-old girls on Myspazz' so-called Brainlove recommends 'em.
everything else is the answer to your question.
but the best are irivers and creative zens. i've got an iriver, had it 2 years and never had a problem.
Home taping is killing music.
I've had my creative zen touch for about a year now, the battery lasts really well, the sound quality is great, I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't even skipped.
It's kinda big and chunky, but cheap!
ipods are ugly little lifestyle accessories.
I got one recently. It's THE BALLS.
That's a good thing by the way.
Is perfect. Had mine for a year and it's great. And it seems alot more hard wearing, I've dropped it a few times and its been fine. Ipods will break instantly.
I know many people who have dropped it once an broke.
I'm stuck with my trusty Zen Micro. I love it, but I need more space.
Had my Sony Walkman for ten years. Never had a problem.
had mine over a year now
the battery life is wonderful, and although it occasionally freezes up, all you have to do is reset it, and it works perfectly. It's also cheaper than an ipod and the software is so easy to use (I have no understanding at all of how i-tunes works)
The illiteracy of its users has become a factor for me.
