For me it's
Hasn't steered me wrong yet!
all labels get it wrong.
I used to adore everyting both Domino and Warp did but they both seem to be chasing the money these days.

Erm, no. Yes, they've got two bands that have been lucky enough to make it big, but if you're suggesting that means they're ignoring the rest of their roster, I can guarantee you (as someone doing the website for one of their other acts) that you are wrong.
aside from maximo i really like thee new warp signings
Household Name Records (back in the day)
Not really sure what else to be honest. I'm waiting eagerly for my captains of industry order to come through :D
Gay For Johnny Depp, Peace Burial At Sea, Marmaduke Duke, We Will Be Pilots :D
3 pound each. YES!
have myspaces/somewhere easy to listen to songs. apart from gay for johnny depp who i know are awesome already. ta
tracks on the captains of industry site, www.captainsof.com
there is always the pre-Oasis Creation Records.
Beautiful artwork, wonderful record, a kinda sound of their own, oh and beautiful artwork. Did I mention that? When I first started buying CDs I used to love there cardboard CD covers, the Ride, MBV, Slowdive, Swervedriver ones.
Dischord of course.
but im not so into the oldschool hardcore any more.
theyre still a label that whose involvement in a record makes me want it more.
Nation of Ulysses
Q and not U
Some really great stuff (i'm sure ive missed something)
Not Not Fun
maybe some others
puts out a lot of rubbish I think.
I've got most of the DFA stuff and I don't think they've put a foot wrong really.
Still, Dischord is just about the only 100% one I can think of.
Steve Shelley's Smells Like Records are pretty ace as well from what I've heard though there's a lot I haven't.
they know their shit.
the worst thing they've ever released was their recent remixes comp, but then that's not a proper project really.
I don't like everything they have released but I'll try everything they will release !
Touch and Go deserve a mention?!
and maybe Transcopic
Fierce Panda too in general
I got my CDs today. Big thanks to Captains of Industry :)
Um - Mower?
I quite like Mower actually. Their guitarist does a cracking impression of Graham Coxon!
Plus they also have Billy Childish and the godlike Coxon himself
i trust Constellation 95% too
Remember Bangs ?
try harder has had a 4/4 success rate, so i guess that's 100%, haha.
jonson family also :)
must deserve a mention, they get it so right so often.
Neurot (despite the fact that I still haven't listened to Neurosis)
Ipecac (Even though I shouldn't. They release some shite)
http://www.marriagerecs.com/bands. all their bands are inventive and wonderful. especially thanksgiving and the lucky dragons.
That is all.
100% so far...
before that I will buy pretty much anything with Sub Pop written on it.
I wouldn't say I trust them though, because it was this reason that meant I spent money on The Elected album, which is the biggest piece of toss I've heard all year. Oh well.
They may only ever release stuff by the same four bands but its always amazing.
Maybe some others I forgot.
hasn't gone wrong so far.
And I'd listen to anything on Tomlab.
And the DFA
And 5RC, maybe.
missing them out was HEINOUS of me.
Elephant 6 too.
No that's not it.
What are they called again?
No, just can't get it...
they release lots of stuff i really love.
MEGAtron - though I love most of their post-Oasis output as well. SFAs, man!
Besides which, Oasis used to be ace.
65 Days of Static, Thee More Shallows et al...buy without fear my friends.
After that vociferous debate a week or so ago I was starting to get a bit worried!
