Is on XFM. It's sounding awesome. Best performance of Citizen Erased I've ever heard them give.
Doubtful. THREAD OVER
was a Muse gig, so I quite believe it.
they're crap. just another radiohead ripoff lol
the lucky fucks
I was fucking there and it WAS amazing. As you say Citzen Erased was the highlight, god everyone just went stupid crazy. I'd do a more coherent post but my feet are steaming.
only really got goosebumps for OoS stuff and some of the new songs.
and moshing = silly.
but muse = so good.
the new songs sounded really good live, especially 'Knights Of Cydonia'
'Take A Bow' also worked really well as an opener
But yeh, it was a very, very good gig and seeing Muse in such a small venue was something I never expected I would get to do after Earls Court
KOC was amazing live! Really didn't like that they played Feeling Good though, always felt that was tres rubbish. The playing on Assassin kicked my arse!
And yes moshing is quite silly but I couldn't help myself...what a saddo.
'Unintended' is superb!
that song is so sugary it would kill a diabetic.
Thats probably why I love it - It reminds me of Uni!
Which is clearly their best work.
Oh, and while I am my opinion, KOC is the cheesiest, most predictable, lazyass thing theyve ever done. Gallopping synth line in it, so they don't have to play as hard.
Old Muse for me? Yes Please!
they have an extra member on keyboards on some songs?
hmmmmm... dunno about that :(
his name's Morgan (he was the guy who replaced Chris on bass at V when he broke his arm a few years back) and it actually worked. It fit in quite well and was there pressing this huge box of buttons and playing keys, it added another layer of sound to the show and really isn't a bad thing. If anything it enhances their live show, so why shouldn't they do it?
He's a legend.
I saw Muse at Shepherds Bush in May 2000 - where they completely blew headliners Bush off the stage - the note Matt hit at the end of Showbiz was incredible. They played songs like Agitated and Yes Please too - hilarious rock action. Why did Muse have to grow up?
1) no WAY... the dude from delakota that did his own album under 'Morgan'? that makes it ok then!
i just don't like it when bands add an extra member, esp for the live stuff... just makes it easier for the original members to rest on their laurels a bit and the sound gets watered down.
2) i think that 2000 Shep Bush gig was my first Muse one, playing before Bush as part of the MTV 5 Night Stand. I walked out after Muse finished as I didn't want Bush ruining my memories of one of the best live sets i've seen!
worst muse album
when I'm in the right mood. Especially Uno.
glad they're still playing Citizen Erased live, it's always good.
i remember when they only played songs from showbiz.
it was called the showbiz tour.
"i was only four"
"he killed the man!"
