The stage times are up on the website now, Brakes and Final Fantasy overlap a bit as do Jackson & His Computer Band and Art Brut... but still, WOOOO
The Gossip are on at lunchtime! What gives?
Trail of dead at midnight will be immense, and Ellen Alien on the first night.
There's so much I've not heard of. SO excited!
It's all about Nathan Fake late on the first night ssuuurreeelly
I didn't notice that
Oh well I'll see him at Electric Picnic
you're a festival going machine..
Is there any advice anyone who's been before can give? Where to camp etc..
Also, I'm going to be in Brussels the night before, are there any gigs/clubnights worth going to in Brussels on that night?
4 nights camping is going to be the end of me.
it shall be lovely, I think... some dublin countryside.
All the cool people are at Latitude.
Dour is where it's at!
Very much looking forward to seeing Brakes, Final Fantasy, Two Gallants, Bell Orchestre, Animal Collective, Dandy Warhols and ...Trail Of Dead one after the other.
But does it beat?
Mogwai, Mercury Rev, Britrish Sea Power, Part Chimp, Saul Williams, Euros Childs and loads of others that I can't be bothered to mention?
Considering the price of the whole thing and all.
and £50 for Eurostar
you were saying?
I'll shut up now :(
what bands do people reccomend?
I intend to see:
The Whitest Boy Alive
Jackson & His Computer Band
Birdy Nam Nam
Erlend Oye mc & dj set
all the grime stuff..
Les Georges Leningrads
Tiken Jah Fakoly
The White Birch
Mad Caddies/Adam Green
Trail of Dead
Does anyone have any recommendations to add to that list? Especially Friday which is the only not so great day for me...
And Nathan Fake are at Latitude also.
you know Dour kills it.
.....that I'd like to see, but the majority that I'm wanting to see are also playing in Amsterdam at the "Stars and Boulevards" event. Which is 16.50EUR for the 2 nights.
Les Georges Leningrad, Euros Childs, Louie, Panico, Adam Green, Dutchess Says, We Are Wolves, Islands, Eagle*Seagull, The Chap.
are worth checking out, and I believe that they're the first band playing on Friday.
They may be a bit sketchy, but I'm really looking forward to Fischerspooner - their live shows seem really good.
I'm really looking forward to Motormark too.
Its great - everytime I look at the line-up I see more that I want to see.
should be done non?
