Honest thing I'm just about to say.
I prefer Dashboard Confessional Unplugged to Nirvana Unplugged.
was the best
aside from the Leadbelly cover.
that your wrongness has just been declared the largest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom.
Nirvana should be LOUD, fuckers.
but their arrangement of the leadbelly cover completely rips off the version from mark lanegans solo album the winding sheet, which kurt even did backing vocals on. the bitches.
neil young unplugged is great if only for transformer man and the amazing like a hurricane on pump organ.
everyone is singing along always make me happy.
Just simply not on. Go away you terrible man.
Fuck, was that a Newman and Baddiel joke?
With Dashboard Confessional being best.
I think Alisha Keys was the first one
If they did do a series, I'd like to see:
is in fairly exulted company right there...good lad.
...when they stoppped it being just the band sat on stools with their acoustic guitars in front of about 10 people.
When the electro acoustic guitars started coming into it and trumpet, sax, keyboard and harmonica players (see Oasis), it pretty much lost its roots and became just AN Other gig.
In my humble opinion anyway.
For the record, my favourite Unplugged was Aerosmith. All old school stuff and proper stripped down Blues the way it should be...
did an acoustic set for what looks like French Television which has got to be the best acoustic performance i've ever seen.
Yorke and Greenwood in their element, basically. They should release this as a dvd.
