Haven't actually heard that Eraser album, is it any good?
I like a lot of what he said.
He has a good imaginative, inquisitive approach to making music. Not afraid to leave the beaten track.
waiting til it comes out..
the observer interview was actually quite good :)
I've heard that many people say they've heard it, I thought it WAS out!
it's very good.
i love thom yorke, a bit.
but so many records of this ilk are this good and better, but won't get attention because it's not thom yorke.
It can't be helped. And doesn't reflect negatively on Thom Yorke's album in any way.
there are better albums from this genre that people will never hear. I never said it makes the Thom LP bad - quite the opposite, all I'm saying is that people only open up to new genres like this when their favourite celebrity is heading them up and it's just a bit depressing is all.
I wonder how many people have got into electronica as a result of Kid A? I should think quite a few.
It has negative and positive aspects.
Are you alright?
but is that a bad thing ? If thom yorke makes people go out and buy (possibly better) cds they wouldent have even heard of otherwise, isnt that a good thing ?
Kid a really turned me on to almost every other genre i listen to that isnt just "rock".
And also, I did download the eraser and thought it was great, but not life changing or anything. Mainly just because of thoms voice; but im sure there are better records of its style out there.
interview. It was annoying and boring and shite.
