Anyone got it yet?
I like Sing It Out.
I liked Sing it Out, but then I realised how simple and not very good the chorus was.
Don't they look really emo?
Good music ruined by cringeworthy lyrics.
havent listend to it yet though. everyone seems to be saying its more song based, less instrumental, more accessible. oh god i hope it snot shit.
But I'm seeing them next week. I'm not sure if I want to go now.....
where are they playing?
yeah ive got it its pretty good.
though i dont like it as much as sing it out....
does the lead singer want to be Efrim of Godspeed/silver mt zion though.
...rave reviews for Left so far, hence I am awaiting Left with much anticipation.
said it was really poor!
In fact, I'd say it's great.
But where has the post-rock gone?
Still atmospheric for the most part, some nice string sections, especially 'little silver birds'.
but saw that at the rescue rooms and it blows me away how bad the guy sings! I mean with such amazing music behind him surley he's one lucky guy eh?
tell me they havent got a song called little silver birds? surely the godspeed!/silver mt zion ripping off has gone too far now...
but still still worth buying,i think it's going to grow on me once i get the cd,the mp3s lack a lot of sound quality of course.the vocals are still a bit patchy but the music more than makes up for it and they were excellent live at Rescue Rooms on Tuesday.
and they're both completely and utterly shit. lost riots is a really good album, but by the looks of it the new one won't get anywhere near it.
i saw the video for sing it out and i felt a little bit sick. then larrikin love came on. urgh! i guess i'll have to wait until 120 minutes to hear some worthwhile music.
havent heard it but the review in the guardian was hilarious. i kind of hope they havent gone to shit though.
really good. the new stuff isn't as good as the old, but then it never is first listen. and it does seem a bit more mainstream pushing. but still really good instrumentation and that.
