erm, yes. lots.
at Primavera the other day, have to say they were fucking awful.
a shakey start, granted. But by the end it was pure bliss
of there so maybe we missed them improve. So you went Primavera? How friggin awesome was it? Have never danced so much in my life! Fucking expensive beer compared to the last two years though.
You lucky fucks
was orgasmic too, as I recall
what a great weekend - one of my life's best. British festivals don't come near it. And yes for dancing! ESG, Ellen Allien, 2 many djs, Yo la tengo, jens lekeman, Shellac, mogwai and a million others were my highlights. I'm excited about next year already.
Though yeah, 3 euros for not even half a pint was steep indeed. Spent every last beer token though, mind.
the tokens is that you can drastically short change them. They even count them and still don't give a fuck and the measures were just silly! Last year it was 3 euros for a pint and 2 euros for those small glasses. Think you pay extra for just how lovely the bar maids and their smiles are though. So different to the grumpy miserable face aches you get working behind bars in this country (especially the girl in the Marlborough near Goodge Street last night serving whilst we were watching czech).
Shellac were amazing, even though sound was a bit dodgy, when he said, 'everyone come to the front' was just the best thing ever. Thought Mogwai were incredible as well and of course the boredoms. On the last night we literally danced, through sunrise, right till they turned erol alkan off and then people were still hanging around outside drinking and chilling. Definitely wouldn't get that in english festivals. European ones are so much better its stupid.
or that you just think they're shit?
playing grass at full blast in the morning to blow some of the cobwebs out. Plus the song seems to fit with the recent good weather we been having not entirly sure why though
