who actually likes them?
offensively twee and wilfull indie failure-like.
thought it was pretty in a fey way and 'ok' but didn't feel how kids must have felt hearing Rock Around the Clock in 1953
sitting in your bedsit too shy to go out and have a life.
Unless you think "offensively twee" and "ambitionless indie failure" are good terms.
too twee, and that I think, makes them rubbish. I think I'll start writing reviews.
live thinking they were the automatic.
they were ridiculously entertaining as well
give is chance to the album which is really pleasing.
Definitely not twee enough still...
I was won over when I saw them live.
they're also really funny between songs as well.
Did rate the Shortwave set though
Then I saw them live and loved it... they really pulled the best out of their songs. Now I think it's a wonderful pop album. You just have to get into it a little. The songwriting is excellent.
I see the twee turnoff point though. I was like that before.
absolutely awful. Not even good in a jokey "listen to this" way. Just terrible tunes that sound like a 10 year old wrote then for a primary school project.
crap pop is shite.
You should like sign them. They'd be the next Smoosh.
I challenge anyone to listen to "I bet if we kissed" and not have their heart melt even just a little bit...
i bet if we kissed a storm would blow over the ocean.."
