what would you have on a secy mix tape and if that wasn't at hand, what album?
by DFA 1979.
DFA 1979 always make me think of sex; every song on that album just screams 'sex'.
the next round of mixtaping should be called "Sextape"
I am, but I'm not organising it, I'm incompetent.
thats INCOMPETENT, not impotent.
explosions in the sky.
Old people don't do sex.
Or LOw - i could live in hope.
Really sexy in a barren kind of way...
Maybe you had kids, when you were younger...
I was indeed younger !
You're younger than my parents, so I guess it's OK.
Or merely songs about sex?
but prefferably sound...
I'm so hijacking this thread from K_T
how to answer this question two months ago
Now I have Howling Bells
as would Prince.
"Packs of three" by Arab Strap.
Its not about sex in a good way though.
sex with albums.
when people say stuff like EITS or godspeed or whatever (no offence dalkin). maybe it's just me, but if i had that on during sex, i'd just collapse in a fit of giggles, all the crescendos and staring into each others eyes and whatnot. tee hee.
i said kyuss last time, i stand by it. dfa1979 would also be good.
Serge Gainsbourg: Histoire de Melody Nelson or most of his soundtracks
Frank Sinatra/Nat 'King' Cole/Johnny Hartman/Charles Aznavour/Chet Baker etc: any of their '50s/'60s romantic LPs
Any slow stuff by Stan Getz/Bill Evans/Tom Jobim (particularly his stuff with Sinatra) etc etc etc
'Honey's Dead' by Jesus And Mary Chain.
I recommend not intentionally listening to any bands you actually know. It's just too weird.
i'd totally start air guitar-ing to kyuss. how very sexy.
if you actually know the people in the band. For instance, The Dawn Parade came on the radio once while I was, er, in the middle of things, and because I know them it was the equivalent of Andrew Lloyd Webber getting his tits out for Escort.
'1965' oozes so much sex it should have a parent advisory sticker on it.
I hadn't thought of that one. Just so long as you don't actually think of Greg Dulli while you're *snarfle* doing IT...
they could use the spinny thing from twister as a guide.
at least shout instructions and encouragement from the touchlines.
