shite or good?
it was alright I guess.
oh right.. plans...
no, it's a bit rubbish.
haven't heard the rest
"the rest" is only really The Photo Album, which you should buy as it's friggin' ace.
we have the facts and we are voting YES YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!
you can play
We can play?
Wrighty told me it's the same as something.
All Death Cab albums are great though.
It didn't initially strike me, but after a few listens it worked its way into my head. Very much like Transatlantism, which is brill.
"you can play these songs with chords"? i don't have that, but as it's all demo / outtake type material i'm not overly fussed. i was talking about "proper" albums..
oh, and the John Byrd EP (live CD) is worth getting as well for the extended version of We Looked Like Giants and the Blacking Out The Friction / Brand New Love medly :D
it's not really the same as Something About Airplanes. basically it was a cassette-only release with most instruements played by ben gibbard and produced by chris walla before the band really existed with eight songs, five of which were rerecorded for SAA with the first band lineup.
the CD version is a reissue of the original cassette with about 10 bonus tracks of outtakes from the sessions for SAA and We Have The Facts.
that be what i meants
But for Death Cab, its slightly not-as-good.
I think there's another thread a bit further down about this.
