in Newcastle. Paid £125. Worth every penny.
i cant wait. Theres nothing more i love than being contreversial on here
Did they give you a life home in a gold-leafed chariot for that?
nothing at all.
i cant imagine spending £125+ on a night out
anything interesting happen at the gig?
maybe "compulsory castration"
so fair play. i wouldnt do it though.
if u want to be contaverisial, dont say that u want a reaction. Us DISers cant be bought *humph*
but they are fucking awesome scummy northeners. Absolutely faultless
excuse me mr. turner, can u speak english please.
at this point that it was £125 for 2 tickets not one. so £62.50 for it. I dont understand the hatred. But ya know, your all just wrong
thats pretty understandable then.
Then it's Northern.
i bet it probably was.
did it make you tingle and give you butterflies.
i love that shit, seriously.
but why do they have to act like twats. when i saw them on nme tour they were proper pricks and just grrrrrr.
btw, view from the afternoon, good song.
*ducks to avoid thrown bottles*
and 125 pound to spare - you must be one of those whizzkid businessmen.
not that it makes much difference. I sold my tickets to see Editors and The Rakes for profit. So the gig only really cost me £25 per person when its all added up and that.
I am a bit of a whizzkid businessman actually now you mention it. Sold a broken mini ipod for £150!
enterprising of you! As long as YOU enjoyed the gig, surely that's all that matters?
£125 on x2 tickets for shit like that and you'll find yourself crying into the gutter by the time you're 25. IMO anyway.
if you really enjoyed it, then it was worth the money.
gigs are GREAT.
OK, Arctic Monkeys might not be everyone's taste, but at least he's getting out there experiencing live music.
i wish i was going on this tour.
it's so exciting seeing a room full of people go nuts for something and passionately screaming every word.
it's why religion was originally so successful.
plus, they really do have some massive choons.
It's your money. I'd have liked to have been there tonight, but I couldn't get tickets, and I wouldn't pay so much as you did... Glad you enjoyed it though. Was it not a bit rushed though? I hate gigs on Saturdays at the Academy with the early curfew for Bulletproof, Maximo Park finished about 10ish in December!
for £125. Are you mental?
dont you think? All family from Sunderland but live in Northumberland? travel to every match. Whats your beef? i cant help it. Jeeeeees!
or sod off.
Suggested rewrite of your post:
"It's crazy to think that less than a year ago, I paid £5 to see them. <insert critique of gig here>"
Do you see?
It's crazy to think that less than a year ago...
I saw them for free then 2 months ago i saw them for free again.
The first one was much better than the second although I still enjoyed it. Only not half as much.
i saw them two months ago for 25 pound.
and i paid £50 to see tom waits.
when was that? Jealous.
IT class, paid 90 quid to see Weezer.
definitely consider paying 90 to see weezer circa pinkerton.
hammersmith apollo. best night ever.
