thanks to that bbc advert, somehow i think it will improve greatly upon its last top40 entry.
a stupid idea...
i think it probably made a lot more sense to the icelandic people who saw/heard it
what was it ?
wasn't it their last single? That I heard anyway. I think they got enough exposure on MTV2 last night.
God I hate re-releases. People just want new material dammit, not regurgitated (sp?) old stuff.
a week on monday here in NZ! but i havnt bought tickets as there isnt much fear of gigs selling out quick here... is it a very bad idea to buy standing tickets for sigur ros? they are cheaper tho hmm...
be "new" and not "regurgitated"?
but it would be nice to hear a different single with a different video or something.
but still, takk is hardly ancient history. and far more annoying singles have been re-released. didn't the killers release three of their singles twice or something?
also, sigur ros are on EMI. i'm inclined to think that they probably didn't have the slightest bit of say in whether it got re-issued.
If you don't want old regurgitated stuff, then don't buy it. The reason why it's re-released is because a lot of people will be buying it because they only heard it on the tele - therefore it's new to them! Also, it surely would be down to EMI and not Sigur Ros themselves.
may be my fave song on the album.
according to them, EMI have just decided to restock it due to high demand from people who didn't take notice last time
the saeglopur EP's coming out soon
