what is the general opinion on Yes here? (keeps opinion to self briefly)
Yeah...I like prog.
But, the song 'yes' by the manic street preachers outstrips anything the band YES have done!
and I'm voting Yes
i like them a lot. only heard The Yes Album though, what else should I get
is arguably the best, but everything they did in the mid-70s is pure gold. Don't bother with any of the recent stuff.
Close To The Edge i've heard is apparently more prog with longer songs. I loved the longer songs on the Yes Album, like Perpetual Change
*looks at name*
Though i dont really have an opinion on the band.
(name was first word i thought of when making account)
Yes are great.
If it weren't for "Close To The Edge", there would be no Mars Volta.
Also, "Fragile" is a pretty good album.
but i don't own much. i may get some yes over th'oliday.
Liek, Genesis/Yes/Rush/King Crimson.
Of Genesis. It's kinda shit though.
What Genesis u got?
If it's post-Gabriel, your answer lies in that very fact.
Gabriel era - you're wrong.
Why do you have loads if you don't like it?
Je suis une a bit confusion.
It's all post Gabriel.
It's alright, trick of the tail is a good album, wind and wuthering too. Just not amazing.
good in parts.
Get Gabriel era.
£5 in Fopp per album.
If you can't get to a FOPP, I'll fly you there.
but cant afford to buy anything in there. but if you run a paragliding taxi service you could pay for all sorts of nice things for me.
I don't understand your dialogue.
Manics are a bit crap.
It's only 00:34.
Gimme some mo'.
Chewing gum is a BIG taboo though.
seem to be in some sort of time warp, Wishbone Ash, Yes...it's like punk never happened.
i don't really like punk all that much.
Prog > Punk.
cept stuff i choose to ignore for the purposes of this generalisation.
