I'm not mistaken am I? And I'm not mistaken in thinking it's absolute gash am I?
Or am I?
I like it. It's on the 12" release of Give Up, it was a b-side originally. I quite like the advert too. It makes me smile.
or am I just plain wrong? I don't like it a great deal anyway...
Am I the only one who likes it?
by the numbers, so to speak.
and I love The Postal Service, but it just sounds a bit dull really.
It's a nice cover.
It's a horrible advert.
just now, and thought it sounded crap. Horribly lifeless
And is it me, or has Max from Hollyoaks got really fat?
it's not gash I think as covers go it's pretty good. I'm a big fan of Sam Beam of Iron and Wine though.
but that might be because im more of an iron & wine fan
it took me awhile to convince some friends that it wasnt jose whatshisname or jack johnson
it's probably the weakest track on 'Creek Drank The Cradle'....does anyone not find the similarities between that and 'Heartbeats' scarily similar. I mean, both tracks by acoustic singer/songwriter types and BOTH are covers of electro band's tracks. Strange indeed.
since it isnt on creek drank the cradle.
i like it anyway. and it was badly edited for the advert.
but it doesn't seem to "go" anywhere, i do like Iron and Wine but I think his own stuff is much better.
Jose Gonzales...I know it's a foreign name and all... ;-)
you really really really really really really really really really really need to buy 'give up'.
so did TPS write 'such great heights'? or I&W?
cover first appeared as a b-side on a postal service EP along with the shins' cover of.. er.. something.
