is making me feel like crying.
That good? Really??
of Divers head in a circular motion with palm of hand while patting other hand on top of it and saying 'there there'
Mono in Glasgow in December, the guy next to me at the merchandise stall was telling the girl how he was the bands biggest fan, had been into them since year dot and had seen them in all the worlds major cities. He then stood behind me during the gig completely ignoring the band and talking with some clotheared bint about their mobile phones.
If I had to tell giant lies like that to get the girl from Mono into my pants, that's what I would do. I would lie for England. I would be the Legendary Champion Liar. My lies would cut the heads off anyone not paying attention in a 5 meter radius. She's that hot.
Thats fanship for ya, dedication to the bitter end. I bet their mobiles were dead good though.
I TOLD YOU SO!
well, maybe i didnt tell you, but im sure ive hyped it on here before.
how good is 'are you there?'
Are You There? is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Definitely in their top 3 tunes - probably along with Lost Snow and Halo.
its on their split with pelican, and if the rest of the album is like that, i will be a very happy dude. haha, dude.
...my feelings on this album abundantly clear when the article on DiS came out a couple of weeks back.
Fucking buy it or die.
a dream where they played live 8 instead of all those other scumbags and they managed to change the world-
what a fucking hippyish dream! Anyway, are mono going to become sigur-ros-huge with this album? is anyone that saw them a couple of years ago at the betsy trotwood going to be dining out on that memory for a while?
I cant see many radio stations playing many of Monos 13-minute creations that regularly so think the concerns about them going the way of Sigur Ros can be dismissed.
The album is not different enough to rope in new fans either. But it is still absolutely amazing and easily my favourite of 2006 so far.
...you lose at life.
