Taking a day trip there next weekend. Should be fun.
Any suggestions then?
Buy all the music you need you go, then spend the weekend enjoying the city, art, culture and drinking establishments.
I only have a limited amount of time there, though.
As in, 1pm till about 6 on Saturday.
So it's just a casual wander around the city, if ya get me.
go to all their stores... well y'never know when you might miss something. but at the cockburn street one you benefit from fopp being next door too, although there's a bigger one of those just off princes st.
the other Fopp is on Rose Street if you need to ask for directions
just off Clarke Street (i think) somewhere...
is the best thing in Edinburgh!!!!
rose street is just behind princes street, but go to AVALANCHE which is a SQUILLION times better than fopp. There's one on Cockburn street and one on West Nicholson street (ask for directions in the one in cockburn street cos otherwise you might get lost)
Asking for directions is for looooooooooooooooooooosers.
I never do that.
I can quite happily get lost on my own.
go out of train station up big hill
turn left ,
walk straight on over roundabout,
walk up big hill that curves to your left,
see goths, you are there.
also, have a walk round grefriars kirk and many of the lovely churches. Do not go into the castle cos it's rubbish and too expensive.
smoke and drink and listen to records/read music magazines upstairs in the fopp on rose street. its ace.
ace for cool 2nd-hand vinyls.
chyah, i mean directions for the other one! it's on a little side street off nicholson street.
godm such a BOY, john :P
it is a valuable life skill that she seems to have.
god such a GIRL, cat :p
She can't multitask to save her life.
and also, i so can!
a boy (just about)
ffft, a likely story
