says it all really
they've been around a little while.
single "all over this town" reached number 38. It was about 42 in the midweek
It says they got signed by sony even though they had no demo or never done a gig!
haven't listened to the rest
supporting hope of the states about 18 months ago. they were wank.
i remember thinking they sound like snow patrol...
They Upper Room is also a bizarre, almost miltant group of nutjobs who claim to be Christian and are basically a cult. The wankers.
boring (All over this town)
makes me think they ought to sound like editors.
do they sound like editors?
i'll feel disorientated if they don't.
all over the telly too. they must have given zane lowe a handjob.
they've just signed to BMG and, what with guitar bands being all popular and that, they've decided to try and shove another anthemic 'indie' band into the public conscious just in case. I'm sure this first came out last year to little attention.
Compared to Ian curtis and Morrissey. Doesn't everyone these days??
Didn't they used to be called just 'The Room'?
I need summat to put in this box as well now though. Erm, how's about 'shit'?
Aye, 'shit' will suffice.
different band. I made that mistake too at first. The room are a better band, but don't seem to be doing much
took me ages to get that demo off them
they are bastards making terrible, terrible music for soulless Q readers.
Or alternatively, a great indie-rock band, lucky enough to be capitalising in the current sway towards guitar music.
but they didnt make any sort of impact, and i'd forgotten the name until i saw this thread
including Hope of the States, where they and The Open fought a bloody battle for supremacy in the 'shite support band' competition.
