I wanna know just how good people think it is..
I reckon it's one of the best ever.
I think my lust for opinion has been appeased now.. Maybe I should go to bed, maybe I should start more threards.. tight rhymes
I actually think This Is Hardcore beats it hands down without question.
But prefer This is Hardcore and His n Hers...they're just more what I think Pulp are, if that makes sense
ive only listened to different class through the once, but it seemed to be a load of shit lounge with common people and disco2000 thrown in to stop me asking for it to be turned off.
</realises he sounds a bit like an oasis fan>
when i look back in 20 years i'll probably realise that it's my favourite album of all time.
I like it a lot. Probably slightly more than His n Hers.
Though I too like This is Hardcore much better.
hands down. fucking A C E.
i have very happy memories of pulp and was relistening to it the other day. Bid thumbs up!
Is a perceptive and accurate description of Pulp, I think. But I would reccommend cheking out His'n'Hers, because it's a lot less 'flimsy' than Different Class. As in better songs.
It may be overplayed, but in my opinion it's still one of the best pop songs of the 90s. I played Different Class for the first time in yonks today, and it is indeed fucking great.
this record is everything an album should be.
fucking awesome - 11/10.
His n Hers has some better songs on it but one or two duff ones.
But His 'n' Hers is The One I reckon.
was the first album I bought on CD.
am I cool?
Well, am I?
an interesting fact: when it first came out nme gave it 8 out of 10. in the same year they gave kula shaker's k 9 out of 10.
Originally gave The Stone Roses 5 didn't they?
There's a lesson in that somewhere.
which is what that ablum deserved.
To the best of my knowledge, OK Computer was the first proper perfect 10 album.
Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen...
got a 10
I know laser guided melodies got a 9.9999 recurring (oh those clever journos) and I'm pretty sure Ladies and Gentlemen... got the 10
I could be wrong though
Internet + Alcohol = Lose... Glad I started a Pulp love in though
I've totally fallen in love with this album lately. I know I'm 5 years too late with this, but it's one I've always dismissed a bit, and I wish I hadn't now. It's brilliant, huge pop songs.
is one of the greatest albums of all time. It's perfect.
agreed, definitely a spell-binder, one of Sheffield's best albums,
His n hers is mintal to though
With Pulp on is one of the great joys of life. This really is pretty much a perfect album.
