1-0 to radiohead
I vote Urban Hymns for nostalgia...
I think we know how this will end.
Can we get 'the_authority' to change his name? ;-)
Lol @ the thought of there being competitionas to which album is better.
UH just to be controversial, cos i hate all you indie success snobs with your thinking that records that sell less are better.
no, not really.
8-1 (rj innit)
Although "Urban Hymns" isn't actually that bad...
they both suck equally in an overblown, obvious, boring and pretentious fashion.
(in the Canadian Female Solo Artist sense of the word) that someone called 'joshua_t' should attack an album for being 'MOR radio shit'?
(Even though I agree with them.)
a traffic jam when you're already late
I did think that likely but as The Joshua Tree is also an album by U2, who are, of course, the very definition of what you railed against, it struck me as somewhat amusing.
people will side with my oddness on this one, mark my words! ;-)
OK Computer - Stephen Hawkings of albums.
Urban Hymns - The illiterate teenage parent of albums.
12489137849722 - 0 Radiohead
2 billion - 0
a stupid question asked to the wrong set of people.
Both very different albums evoking similar emotions... Both brilliant...
[my two bob]
this thread was inspired by the 1998 Brit Awards. Both albums were nominated for best British album and Urban Hymns won. I'm still not sure why to be honest.
i voted Urban Hymns, and I won't have a bad thing said against it. It's lovely.
Amnesiac pwns them both anyway
about Amnesiac. It's my favourite Radiohead album by a long way.
It's the BEST ALBUM IN THE WORLD EVER
Though Ashcroft post urban hymms has been abysmal.
lets not talk about it...
by 'the_athority''s thread about the verve where he stated it was better than OKC or similar. :-D
ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space whips the pair of them totally.....
but i'll always prefer urban hymns and ok computer...
