how can this guy sleep at night?
on a pillow made of shredded 50 pound notes.
I don't see why people have such problems with touts, they should have got in there earlier, although my POV will probably change in the next few months after I miss out on some tickets or another.
How much do people reckon I could get for my ticket for the Rolling Stones closer to the time?
£500 for tickets from touts then its not like theres gonna be any reason fro them to stop
though, i will usually sell it face value, meaning i still make a loss on the booking fee and postage, but at least it's gone to a good home.
When I were a lad, I paid £480 to see an average indie rock bands from sheffield. Of course, in them days, £480 were a lot o 'money
it should become legal for anyone to beat touts within an inch of their lives without any comeback.
you will be able to see them next year for like 5 quid at your local union.
damn monkeys, i bet that's alex turner selling those tickets!!
they come in flocks around venue entrances. can you take on the flock?
Seriously, they're just alright aren't they? Am I going crazy?
Seriously, none. Even if Kurt Cobain gets resurrected and they do a set made up entirely of In Utero and b-sides I wouldn't pay that much to see them.
would he be all corpsy and undead? could that would be quite a show, with bloody spilage and confusion. actually no, it would be like death metal gone wrong.
I dunno about that
besides, I_Are_Scientist, getting on earlier wasn't a particular option. i was on at six and 5 to six in order to get my sister tickets and that failed.
maybe you should sod off with your top hat and twiddle your cigar in someone else's face?
people have put ridiculous bids on in order for them not to sell? Like that million dollar bid for the cheese on toast with the virgin mary on...?
Is when it's genuinely impossible for proper fans to get tickets, even if they're there bright and early at ten to the hour with a phone on auto-dial and two computers. I think ticket outlets have, in principle, a moral obligation to make sure everyone has a fair chance at a ticket. Sometimes, it's pretty clear the touts have some kind of suspicious advantage.
I wouldn't pay £5
I'd never do anything like that for my sister, much respect to you.
Nah, seriously, I wasn't backing the touts, I was just trying to get the point accross that if I could make that much money that easily, I would.
But I wouldn't buy a ticket knowing I was going to sell it.
