is the sex
why has it taken me so long to pay attention to my bloody valentine ? why ?!
I think if I could get a record to morph into a person and have sex with it, Loveless would have to be the one. I might actually go and grab the CD now... to um... put in my CD player.
isn't anything, but i think they're probably about equal really, i just favour the album i bought first.
i should probably listen to loveless more than i have done though. its just that whenever i feel in a my bloody valentine mood, i instinctively put isn't anything on.
But MBV are probably as close as you could get to aural sex. Or a hot bath of goo. Whatever takes your fancy really...
an incredibly beautiful LP and I adore it so.
So many images in my head when listening to that album, so much PERFECTION.
even if (ssssshhh!) the songwriting's a bit lame.
Did anyone ever hear what happened to that MBV EPs box set that was planned for ages ago that was for sale on Amazon but never actually released? That looked amazing and is kind of essential now that the EPs are all out of print.
Too bad it looks like it won't be happening for a while, yet again :(
i wish they'd made an LP of songs like Sunny Sundae Smile or produced Isn't Anything like Loveless as i have the nagging feeling that would possibly be even better. Isn't Anything has better SONGS but it's nowhere near as well produced.
Is that intermediate. Am I alone in my love of it?
i still love it, but... no.
should do their very best to get the Realise and Kiss EPs - they are some of the best stuff MBV did. Adore the band, though not quite sure about the pre-Creation stuff. It is good, but just not 10/10 like ALL of the Creation stuff.
they're just one of those bands. i fell for loveless pretty instantly, but i can see that their stuff would grow on you rather than hit you between the eyes.
get the EP with "you made me realise" on it if you've not got it already. personally i prefer it to 'isn't anything'.
yesterday I passed through Forest Gate station, and thought of you
I was rather anxious at the time though, so I wasn't really in a proper position to appreciate it fully
is actually what i believe to be the Hellmouth.
Even the trees there look dead.
