anyone played here?
whats the glasswerks night, on a weds like?
the greatest venue, to be perfectly honest
but are the nights any good?
about the glasswerk night but i'm going to the one next month. the sound in there is generally great.
cos we're playing at that night (as well as tonight)
that's probably the one (they only do them once a month don't they?), rhesus's last gig.
This very day at 99 o clock
Christiansilva will play their songs.
Sky high prog glam electro baroque'n'pop classix each.
shAydie thinks they are boring.
She is wrong
She will see.
Again an almost brand new set last night.
Three singles and three albums to be released this year before midsummer
email me and I'll send you a tune
when did i say "boring"?
point of view, the sound was pretty good, but the beer was awful and pretty expensive too.
to a venue with good cheap beer?
and the turtle's no different to the standard fosters/stella/guinness fare in all your 'favourite' music venues.
well, £2.50 for Kronenberg anyway - which is good for London. Shit venue though.
The glasswerk night is a bit weird.
The one that my friends' band played had bands that were so different it was surreal. There was a cool girl that did the whole singer/songwriter thingy and was quite good actually, an electro pop band and a band that was rocky and thought they were the Gallaghers.
They even picked up a fight and the police came over.
Quite strange really
It's £3 for Kronenberg, Foster, and San Migel in the Dublin Castle.
I should know. :-P
Plus, it's not shit.
yes the billing at the glasswerks night is chiosen by some system that I cannot divine. or mebbe just at random
acoustic singer songer
the beer is bit iffy in there.
not as bad as the monarch, mind
We drove 3 hours to get there, set up all our stuff, were about to soundcheck and then got kicked out for having some under-18 members, even though noone had said that this would be a problem.
Be Your Own Pet played there the week after that, and they're about 13!
So, of course, I hate the place, but it didn't seem too bad.
