I'm trying to get tickets to see Editors at the Astoria in Feb., and he's supporting, whats he like?
He's great, Sheffield singer-songwriter who sounds like a crooner. Live he's very friendly and inclusive, should be a good'un. His last album was one of 2005's best.
this ticket booked then, thanks.
coles corner was definatly one of the highligthts of the year. dare i say it, but he is inline to fill cash's boots.
him. He used to be Pulp's touring guitarist don't ya know.
he was the guitarist in the Longpigs, although he doesn't sound anything like them now. His albums are totally beautiful - really old-fashioned loungy crooning. He's great live, really funny. I haven't got Cole's Corner yet, I really want it though. The best out of the other albums is Late Night Final, it's gorgeous. It makes you feel all sleepy and happy and poignant, like you've been crying but it's alright now, and you're curled up by the fire on a horrible rainy day.
Yes you must get Coles corner, Hawley is a top bozo and a legend in his own right!
UP THE HAWLEY...ahem! x
