The Faces - Ooh La La
Arcade Fire 7"s.
on The Unicorns - Who will cut our hair...
Especially the lovely pink sleeve the CD comes in.
that's awful artwork, personally. It just looks...well, annoying. Not my thing.
Man you are on a losing streak at the moment!
I'd stay away from any main roads or railway lines. In fact, go and lie down somewhere quiet.
you too will see just how annoying it is. Crowded, garish, hard to read properly.
Gret record though. Do I get some redeeming points for that?
I just bought it for the artwork.
Bamos would only like it if had footballs and cider and pies all over it. :P
buy albums with those on the cover. The Greatest Man Album in the World...EVER! Now that's got some serious artwork.
I'd imagine Fat Les - greatest hits (aka 15 different versions of vinderloo) would have great artwork, wouldn't it?
mini-album was great !
...everything they've released
have bizarre artwork - feels is just odd
Neutral Milk Hotel - aeroplane over - that's good art work and the lyric pull out done in the style of a public information poster is a real nice touch.
Yeah, NMH is a good'n.
I really like the artwork for the new panda bear single.
The packaging is fantastic. It's a tripple gatefold digi pack, with the CD sliding in and out of a cartoon style heart, and the booklet is designed like a pilot's notebook which slides in and out of the breast pocket of his jacket. Love it.
Old 'A' artwork. Used to be great before Hi-fi serious
is on folky stuff - twee artwork can be great, and on avant guarde records - the residents, etc, and cliché techno artwork with all weird vector graphics and stuff.
And all packaging should be cardboard, but the good type that folds and has the plastic cd holder thing in it. Not the 'slot' variety.
I tore my Arcade Fire CD case the first day I got it trying to get the CD out. Luckily I lent it to a mate and he lost it so he bought me a brand new one (minus tears) and I have yet to tear it. Bonus.
All you need to do is remove the CD once, see that it's a tight fit, and place it in an empty sleeve next to the original one. That way the packaging doesn't get fucked, you can still listen to your CD, and you won't lose it either! Problem solved. ;->
but it's tough to read.
I thought was great artwork from last year.
Always has excellent art. Everything Ecstatic reminds me of that ball commercial for some reason.
The Kingsbury Manx do good artwork
