Just another "which album should I buy first with my new found money" thread.
So then, any answers?
Hold Your Horse Is.
A few weeks ago after missing their London show and they where pretty badass. However, Wires on Fire out gnarled them but a considerable margin (IMO) and Mae Shi were on the rad side also. I dont own or know of any of their albums but will monitor the progress of this thread and maybe act on it accordingly...
is definitely their best album. I have all their stuff and it's the one I keep coming back to. The newer stuff is much more noisy and layered and experimental and makes more sense live I think.
If you like that album look into Crime In Choir's self titled, it has Zach Hill on drums. Another blinding instrumental album.
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'd say hold your horse is as well, but the devil isn't red isn't a bad place to start either.
if you want to listen to NES songs, listen to chirpin hard. that's part of the 2 cd package with zach hill's noise fest 'church gone wild'.
i'm gonna fourth and carry the motion
I thought it was horrible, and they definitely work better as a unit than as separate parts.
The new EP is really good and it's with a DVD... although my favourite song is only 2 minutes long, sadly.
by Half Man Half Biscuit.
And/or The Teenbeat box set (you have to order it off of the website- sickhappyidle.com or something), which really is quite good, and has 3CDs for £13!!!eleven!!
is very good.
But I already have it...
