anyone else seen/heard this?
I expect sails for JCB trucks will jump this christmas
It's one of those songs I quite like now, but will probably despise it by January.
to this morning's news, JCB have been in talks with Nizlopi about sponsoring some kind of 'getting youngsters into music' scheme in their home town (Leamington Spa).
dig it out. arf!
think it's a really sweet song, but like most people, probably won't in a month or so.
... when a thread would develop on this board about the song...
like the 3rd time this has been released?
i don't like it. no musical snobbery here, i just don't get it.
bob the builder innit?
It's like Bob The Builder meets Counting Crows meets something very very twee indeed. But i quite like it. For now.
bob the builder meets counting crows at a knitting convention with show and tell items: their kittens.
What does 'JCB' actually stand for? 'Cos in Welsh we say it stands for Jac Codi Baw which translates as Dirt Lifting Jack.
Joseph Cyril Bamford
after the guy who started the company.
I think Dirt Lifting Jack is better though.
My granddad invented the firt removable tooth/claw for JCBs/Bulldozer/etc. The prototype is next to the downstairs toilet in my parents' house.
it's part of my heritage. I see my grandpa's kindly face in that prototype JCB tooth. Although I don't really want my grandpa perving at me when I'm takeing a shit so perhaps I should eBay it.
we have a bidder on line 2
I'm doing press for this next week.
Is it good??
no. But not hyper evil either, so you're ok.
second favourite at 2-1 in the race for xmas number 1.
heard it a few months ago and wasn't overly taken by it, it seemed to go on a bit but i wasn't in a listening mood.
i heard it on radio 1 a bit ago and it seemed better, but then everything that goes top ten ends up pissing me off by being played on moyles then whiley then colin & edith then scott mills.
