and my thumbs have gone weird.
they do say the devil has all the best tunes.
As i walked into my local Asda store at about 5:45 last night I got treated to Chas & Dave playing a set in the entrance.
They were finnishing the track that repeatedly says "Rabbit" in the chrous.
I been singing it all day.
there's more rabbit in Sainsburys.
it's called 'rabbit'.
did they change the lyrics to "you've got more rabbit than asda"?
The Wurzels are better though, right?
I've always found it difficult to compare shit against shit.
It's all about texture, colour, form, aroma and personal taste.
Personally I could only stand the experience long enough to wop out my moblile and record a 20 second clip of "rabbit" before continuing my shopping excursion.
The whole novelty Chas & Dave thing seems a bit lost when you're shopping on your own to buy some Rump Steak.
chas 'n' dave are so 2004. it's pete libertine's (sorry, babyshambles) fault.
everyone's into the wurzels these days.
so i hear.
the Wurzels and British Sea Power co-release a single just this week?
i hope it's online soon.
weren't they headlining Shepherd's Bush Empire or something rediculous recently? they're always playing in London tho. i saw them crop up a couple on the 100 Club listings and the Amersham Arms in New Cross and tickets were a measly £17.50 (+ booking fee).
