Anyone seen these live?
at the best-of-unsigned thing at islington academy a few weeks back. i really enjoyed them, pretty energetic, though i can see people saying 'they're nothing original'.
but i really like em!
i saw them on the new bands stage at leeds and then at the last nasty fest.
i rate them highly.
and orginality? nothing is original nowadays.
i can't remember much, too much booze and paracetamel, but they seemed like a lot of fun, 'enjoyable' is totally the right word. on record i expect i might not be as impressed, but well worth catching live
I saw them at the unsigned stage at leeds, they were good. Only heard put you in your place though.
WITH BLACK WIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
are bloody excellent. Looks a good line up.
if there hadn't been a certain favourite band of mine playing a secret gig down the road.
and i'd have to literally kill you if i told you.
these boys beyond all else. Seen 'em around twenty times over the past year and a half or so. My favourite band in the entire world. Go. Go see them. Go:
Mon 16th Jan - Cardiff Barfly
Tues 17th Jan - Birmingham Barfly

Tues 24th Jan - York Barfly
Wed 25th Jan - Glasgow Barfly

...and more to be announced.
The lads are also playing at London Camden Barfly this Thursday (as far as I know) and The Luminaire, London, on Sunday, as part of the Northern Invasion Tour Part II, along with other such stellar crop from around these parts as The Hair, The Playmates, The Reprobates...
...and, of course, Leeds The Faversham's New Year's Eve party.
Which is on the 31st of December, for those not in the know.
Their first single was 'Put You In Your Place', a 1000 7" only limited vinyl with a few 12"s thrown in containing the extended mix, of which there were around 50. These have all sold out now. Their first full scale release is the single 'Commercial Breakdown', a song originally released on their 'My Army' EP/demo (also gone) and included on the first 'Dance To The Radio' compilation, now remixed and remastered and rejigged and redone to be unleashed on the unsuspecting public in January.
They are everything you need.
...to hear the new version of 'Commercial Breakdown'.
They are also playing Brixton Windmill on Saturday night see above.
are a pile of donkey turnips. their songs bore me. further, their name is a blatant rip-off of a legendary band.
momma b say "codswallop"
