What a brilliant gig. Thunderbirds are now! were ace and actually managed to be more frantic than they are on record, which is impressive. I don't think I've seen a band this year with as much energy as they had. Les savy fav were incredible, seriously, Tim Farringdon must the best frontman ever. 'We'll make a love of you' and 'The sweat descends' sounded so good, and I loved the bit where he picked up a table then stood on it in the middle of the crowd.
Weird war - meh. I lost interest quickly. To be honest, the only likeable parts to this band were done a lot better by the two bands on before them, if that makes sense. I left their set early and only saw about 30mins, they were too much of an anti-climax and were forcing the brilliance of LSF out of my head. I felt sorry for the slight mass exodus but well, they were comparatively an inferior band and LSF totally stole the whole show. I'm SO jealous of all you ATP people.
And no, I still don’t want to post in my proper account.
