at the scala. anyone going? i don't like them too much on record but will i like them live? eh?
they made me so, so very happy. So happy that I bought a t-shirt that is at least three sizes too small for me. That's the kind of trance they put you in.
that t-shirt should probably fit me then. Fancy making me happy Mr.B? (Not that you don't usually make me happy).
I downloaded the mp3s after seeing them live and they are 1 millionnnnn times better in the flesh. I can't say I'd purchase an album because it could never top what I saw them do on a tiny stage. The beardy guy is ace. I want to adopt him.
has changed me from mildly uninterested to very excited. trances rock, bring it on
as well. thanks guys
is important too so I hope that helped.
Really like Bamos says they are mesmerizing and yet extreme fun. The girls are just the right side of playing it cute on the vox and sounding like overexcited children.
i'm only going cos my girlfriend knows someone in the support band, but now i am actually proprlooking forward to it. woo woo
don't like it though, I'm not being held responsible for your poor tastes.
And if my diet doesn't go to plan, the T-Shirt's yours BobbyG!
Are Absentee supporting? I've heard them around but don't know what they sound like. Anyone...?
questions like this make me love my job.
Absentee - warm honey toned country musings. They even do a song that segues into You're The One I Want of Grease fame. I bet you've just choked on a hairball now but don't worry they aren't crap. They should create a nice vibe live and Donkey Stock is full of lovely fresh baked songs. However you might get bored after the third ode to some failed relationship.
I know I'll get good answers when you're around. Thanks! They sound interesting, rather excited about this gig. In Case We Die is my favourite record this year (so far).
they are a rather special band. When I saw them at the Windmill I couldn't stop smiling.
must have looked like a right royal retard
I write reviews of albums and do interviews etc. I get free cds/promos and gigs which in my book is good. Doesn't mean I don't hate it sometimes though.
