Is rather good
I'd be all over this like a rash. When's one of you other buggers gonna do it?
I actually loathe this band name. I've never heard them, however.
Well I loathe your FACE, working class scum. Now go and buy this album, if you can scrape the money together. Gah, I loathe the proles.
My obvious Tory tendencies aside, this album is FUCKING AWESOME. If you don't own it, then you are a TWAT.
buy it this weekend aren't I? Curse these good albums.
CD WOW to deliver it. They're taking their time. I also hate the band name, not sure why. Maybe coz I hate jackets and mornings.
with Bamos the fascist.
...what sort of band are they, I wonder?
The name makes me think of Belle and Seb, that's all, and I'm really not a fan.
Oh well, time to go a-googling...
Well it's not all that, judging by 'Wordless Chorus' and 'Off the Record' (on their site).
Not really my sort of thing, though. Not really 'edgy' enough. And the drums are bit 'unspecial'.
Us proles, eh? ;-)
always bracket them in with My Morning Jacke. Are they actually good? Hmmm...
other albums. Is the new one similar? I heard they had done a reggae style track, but that could be like the journalists who said that the Strokes had a reggae track on Room on Fire.
You probably mean 'Off the Record' and it sounds a bit Clash-y if my ears aren't decieving me. Really, really like this album but it's quite a progression from It Still Moves and At Dawn. On first listen my initail reaction was 'where's all the reverb?' and I couldn't quite believe it was the same band. After repeated listens the MMJ 'feel' does come through. And whoever said it earlier in the thread, yes, My Morning Jacket is and awful name, almost as bad as I Like Trains.
and it really is rather good. Thank you for recommending it.
