1. The Natural History
2. The Oranges Band
Not a bad day really.
I discovered Envy and Other Sins supporting Mew. Pretty good...
Not only did all my troubles etc.
But i also saw The Harrisons, who are alright in a support band kinda way.
are really good !
Got their first demo, it's ace !
Patrick Wolf. Been meaning to listen to him for AGES and heard a few songs off his first album. It's pretty amazing stuff, The Childcatcher is so creepy!
Yep, The Childcatcher is pretty horrible. In my opinion the first album's better than Wind in the Wires, but I think a few people here probably disagree with that. I prefer the more electronic stuff. I don't know what you heard from Lycanthropy, but I'd recommend Bloodbeat, To the Lighthouse, Don't Say No, and Demolition.
It's a matter of taste really. I perfer 'Wind in the Wires' by a long shot personally. Thought his debut had tooooo much going on at the same time. Besides, 'Tristan' is the first ever ukulele-driven song you can dance to. Which, you know, deserves some extra points.
