this was supposed to be Best Coast/Beach in the UK
as all the trains home were cancelled. Awful gig experience all-round. Would not recommend.
i said northumberland, because i'm on brand, then north yorks and cornwall.
for individ. beaches i really like beadnell bay. my dog really likes cresswell.
no but he likes the proximity to druridge bay, jumping on the stones and getting the leftovers of a lolly from cresswell ices
which is 7 miles long. 7 miles.
so don't come to me with some 20 mile long shite at the bottom of england
If you can have that, I'm having "the UK"
COUP SQUAD: ASSEMBLE
Dolphins and sand.
even though the answers definitely St. Ives
It was the main part of the "DiSers Go Around the Entire Coast of the UK" excursion last year.
Tagline "Don't tell the shitcunts"
i heard it got hijacked by a load of bellends
...are still two of my favourite beaches anywhere in the world. Possibly as I actually enjoy nostalgia more than I like actually going to the beach (surely the most overrated leisure activity going), but they are both really good nonetheless:
Broadstairs - nice big sandy beaches, a couple of good coves, fishing boats, old seaside town that isn't completely knackered but still twee, good pubs.
Camber Sands - massive, sand dunes, wild enough that you can always find your own private spot.
Special mention for Bettyhill too. As for coasts, North Cornwall/Devon and Suffolk (or 'The Sunrise Coast' as no one in the world actually calls it) for me thanks.
it's pretty easy to find a private spot on Camber Sands, yeah.
this is an in-joke that one other person will get.
haven't been to many of the coasts, but hard to imagine anything better.
I don't deserve this
