I love Girls, Christopher Owen's solo career has been extremely disappointing so far
certainly more interesting than the second Yuck album.
and the nature of it really doesn't sit well. have had absolutely no interest in his solo stuff, which is weird because i really liked Girls, and I think may have caught one of their last gigs together.
but Scott from Frightened Rabbit's album as Owl John was pretty forgettable
I won't hear a bad word about Grand Unification
Was as good as the Beatles stuff.
What did happen to their singer anyway?
A more interesting question would be 'singers who made their best music after leaving the band they made their name in'. Can't think of many.
