Now I'm not saying I believe in god, but they were given 3 months to live and that was 5 years ago. To this day I still believe it's because someone or something out there hates Kodaline that much.
and clicked on it and it was full of stuff like Kodaline and The Coronas. Some of the most turgid shite Ireland has ever produced.
ADEBISI SHANK RIP
Helicopter of the Holy Ghost
Some would say Kerbdog and Therapy? too, but they are probably just great in places
Until last year I was convinced that Muse are Irish......
I think I'm right in saying they've only ever had one member (Phil Chevron) who's actually from Ireland.
Kodaline can go and hang.
Here are the Altered Hours. Making music to get fucked up to to make music to get fucked up to:
if we're counting Northern Ireland
(early stuff was good)
Some good bands: Villagers, BellX1, The Divine Comedy.
But Bell X1 are also shite and Villagers are just dull.
Are pretty good, I quite like Meltybrains? too from what I heard.
Also Relish, who are just coming back around after being away for a few years http://www.relishmusic.com/
would love a new album too
Shoegaze/post-punk. Excellent band.
Heartworm is amazing.
are (were?) great. A nice mix of indie, post rock and electronics.
The last album was produced by Efrim from GSY!E.
Formed to do a live soundtrack to the cabinet of dr. caligari, they are one of the best post rock bands out there
