New Down I Go Album, out on Holy Roar later this month.
Realise I haven't posted on here in AGES, but here's some info on the new DIG record for those who might be interested.
ALBUM NEWS:
"Holy Roar Records is very excited to announce the impending arrival of Down I Go's fourth album 'You're Lucky God, That I Cannot Reach You' to be released August 28th (digital) & October 23rd (limited white vinyl).
Whilst possibly one of the most unlikely albums to ever materialise, with members living in Stockholm, Chicago and Toronto - due to the wonders of Kickstarter and Icelandic studio-owning fans - it has happened. As Alan DIG put it "Why can't anyone let this fucking band split up?" Also, don't worry - Kickstarter was used to fund the bands flights to Iceland and not for awful reasons.
Preorders for the vinyl (and a shirt of course), along with a full stream of the album will debut very shortly.....
Tracklisting:
1. Mother In The Pen (featuring Tim Elsenburg of Sweet Billy Pilgrim)
2. The Serpent of Lagarfljót
3. The Hired Hand & The Lake Dwellers
4. The Slaying of Skeggi (featuring Jamie Lenman)
5. Of Marbendill
6. Strike It While It’s Still On My Nose
7. My Old Lady Wants Something For Her Whorl
8. An Outlaw Killed
9. Drangey Consecrated
10. The Sending"
Those who pledged on Kickstarter will receive pre-release digital copies of the album. More info on that soon.
