if anything the fact that there's lyrics on almost all of her records that are almost entirely imperceptible kind of makes her music more mysterious and appealing.

was largely unintelligible on the early Manics tracks. Always thought that must have been a source of disappointment to Nicky and Richey. Here's a band that flaunt their lyrical prowess and yet, without a lyric sheet, you can't understand a word of it. Still brilliant though.

He sounds like Elvis possessed by some evil demon spirit, and as such he tends to slur his words a lot. When he isn't shouting that is.
tho I think many of his songs are actually in gibberish.
and all the better for this!
