PJ Harvey is actually a collaboration between Sarah Harvey and Patrick Jones, an author of many books on the subject of wrestling, for whom PJ is an abbreviation. Patrick is, to this date, the songwriter on all of Sarah's songs and states that all lyrics are wrestling metaphores.
This has been confirmed by people who witnessed PJ Harvey's latest recording sessions saying that they saw Sarah (often confusing them as PJ Harvey) watching wrestling videos and discussing them with Patrick for hours straight during each said session.
