normally because they were written and recorded in 4 hours.
but I'd like to think both these bands are too smart to do that.
Or could turn out to be a real surprise. Ff are a pretty solid band and I think are a bit underated.
Sparks form since the turn of the century has been great. There's not many bands that have released four albums of the quality that they have over the same period. As has been stated, Franz are pretty solid and I think the 2 bands will gel ok. I'd be shocked if its terrible but I'm expecting something that's at least 'good'.
Just listened to 'Piss Off' and I really like it. Looking forward to the album.
Franz haven't put out a great album in about a decade.
There's a stream on NPR but it's not for the UK so I presume the Guardian or NME or something will be streaming it soon
in the Franz formula sounds amazing. I'm a sparks fanatic and will argue that some of the later Sparks albums have been subversive, ahead of their time masterpieces (like Hello Young Lovers). Music is always catching up to Sparks. So excited for this songs sound like a ton of fun.
franz ferdinand make everything boring these days
and easily one of the best collaboration albums ive ever heard
and deserves WAY more attention.
I mean its not a classic but it is so enjoyable. Makes a refreshing change from the amount of music about that takes itself so seriously.
